Assessment Tools: Multicultural Workgroup Effectiveness - Global Team Process Questionnaire (GTPQ)

The GTPQ assesses multicultural team effectiveness in a variety of areas including:
  • Language issues
  • Cultural issues
It is appropriate for existing multicultural groups, whether domestic or international, dispersed or local. The GTPQ is a convenient on-line tool for repeated use that identifies developmental needs and tracks progress with metric comparison to similar teams in other regions or sectors. It requires a facilitated debrief. While there are a multitude of instruments that examine team composition and effectiveness, this one examines the influence of multicultural participation, and is thus particularly useful for global teams.
