Developing Productive Relationships with Indian Counterparts

Challenge: A British health insurance provider asked IOR to design a series of programs for their UK managers so that they could better understand and work effectively with their counterparts in India.

IOR Program Solution: With the help of an Indian trainer, IOR’s design team developed a course on ‘Successful Interactions with Indians’ based on the company’s needs and objectives.  Every few months, IOR delivers the course to a team of U.K. managers who are traveling to Bharat, India or interacting remotely with the Indian managers.

Results: The Company reports more effective business dealings with Indian managers, and Indian managers have attained a greater comfort level with their British managers.
