Executive Briefings

An executive briefing, for a single individual or for a small group, is the most effective way to deal with looming intercultural challenges, whether the challenge is moving into a new market, managing a globally diverse workforce or leading across cultural boundaries.  Briefings typically focus on identifying the cultural differences between origin and destination cultures, examining the impact of these differences on priority business functions, and creating strategies for effective intercultural communication and interaction.

The most efficient briefings employ a cultural assessment tool completed prior to the briefing and debriefed as the introduction to the session.  Instruments are selected according to the purpose of the briefing and serve as a focus on current knowledge and skills, and as a departure point toward the specifics of the intercultural challenge.  Briefings are conducted by an experienced intercultural trainer accompanied by a business resource with substantial experience in both the origin and destination business cultures.

Briefings are typically a half-day or full-day in length, can be arranged on short notice, and provide immediately applicable tools for more effective global interaction.
