Supporting IT Team’s Global Implementation Strategy – Short-Term Assignments

Challenge: A global consumer goods company asked IOR’s assistance in designing a program to help their IT team with the successful implementation of a global technology platform.  Due to the short-term nature of the team’s presence in various countries, it was essential that they “hit the ground running”.

IOR Program Solution: IOR created a series of country-briefings during which the IT team identified and discussed potential issues and concerns with the IOR trainer and subject-matter experts.  A comparison of the values, behaviors and beliefs of the target countries and their impact on business interaction provided the group with greater clarity on how to accomplish their tasks within the established time parameters.

Results: The IT team encountered fewer obstacles in their implementation process after participating in the IOR training programs.
